The Signature Showdown

Event Format:
This is a multi-round “Ringer Tournament”, taking the best score a player has made on each hole over the course of multiple rounds. This is a similar scoring format to the Summer Classic “Select-a-Score” but played over the course of the entire season.

Entry Type:
This is an individual game. Players are automatically included in the Signature Showdown when participating and completing a minimum of 1 of the Signature Showdown qualifying events. There will 8 qualifying rounds played within the 5 events listed below. All qualifying event rounds completed will be chances to improve each player’s Signature Showdown scorecard.

Qualifying Events/Rounds:

• MOMC - Spring Fling: May 16th, 2026

• MOMC - Summer Classic - Round 1 & 2: July 11th & 12th, 2026

• MOMC - Club Championship - Round 1 & 2: August 22nd & 23rd, 2026

• MOMC - Two for the Money - Round 1 & 2: September 12th & 13th, 2026

• MOMC - Crown Royal Closer: October 10th, 2026

Event Details:

• Qualifying events/rounds will be Majestic Oaks Men's Club events in which a player plays their own ball

• Course handicaps used for scoring will be determined by the format designated for each event/round

• A player must hole out and record a score for each hole of the qualifying event for those scores to be included in the Signature Showdown scoring

• Qualifying events require full field completion of all 18 holes to be included in the Signature Showdown scoring

• USGA rules will govern all play except where modified by specific event formats

Payouts:

• Payouts for both Gross and Net divisions

• A player may not win in both divisions

  • In the event of a tie, ties will be broken using suggested USGA format: Last 9, 6, 3 and 1

Scorecard Example:

This example shows a 3-day ringer scorecard consisting of three events. Majestic Oaks Men's Club ringer scorecards will consist of one to eight 18-hole scores, depending on the number of qualifying events the player has participated in.
